Peru Travel Mart (PTM) 2010, the most important yearly event for tourism promotion in Peru, is expected to close deals for US$55 million within 12 months after the event, said Wednesday Peru’s National Chamber of Tourism (Canatur).
The XVII edition of this event will be attended by 150 buyers and 70 sellers mainly from Latin American countries, November 25–28 in Lima.
PTM outcomes have maintained an upward trend in the last years.
In effect, in 2008, US$50 million deals were closed while in 2009 US$ 16.92 million.
PTM 2010 is organized by Canatur, in collaboration with Peru’s Export and Tourism Promotion Board (Promperu).
Peru Travel Mart 2010 takes place within two main fields, one of them including a Business Meeting, in which Peruvian exhibitors have the opportunity to establish business contacts with major wholesalers all over the world.
